Society Captain
The EuroDov Tour has existed as a golf society since 2013. The society has a standing Society Captain who holds the role for a minimum of 1 year and maximum of 3 years.

The Captain is determined by the winner of our longest running tournament the RyDov Cup and is held for a calendar year.
2025 Captain - Paul Gowens
Paul Gowens becomes the 7th Captain in the history of the EuroDov Tour following his victory in the 2024 RyDov Cup.
​
Gowens' first appearance on Tour was in the 2021 Anstruther Medal before he joined the Order of Merit in 2022.
​
In three years on the Tour Gowens has made light work of clocking up wins, his first coming in his Order of Merit debut at the MCM @ Aberdour, then quickly followed with the King's Cup. In total he's won 3 Order of Merit Events, the Inchkeith Cup and the Harry Vardon Trophy.
Outside of the Order of Merit Gowens' has won the Anstruther Plate twice, once in 2023 and again in 2024 and in 2024 he won the inaugural Matchplay tournament.

Gowens is tremendous advocate of the Tour and it's competition and will serve as the 2026 Carnegie Cup captain.
