The Championships

The Championships were introduced for the 2025 season.

Hosted at Kinross Golf Club, Kinross - the spiritual home of the Tour, the event consists of a collection of five competitions.

Held on the first Sunday in July a 36 hole event is played over the Montgomery and Bruce courses, stroke play format, full handicap allowance.

On the day the Montgomery Cup (the oldest individual trophy on Tour), the Bruce shield and the Senior Championship are awarded. The Montgomery Cup is awarded to the best net score over 36 holes; the Bruce shield is awarded to the best net score (18+ handicap) over 36 holes; and the Senior Championship is awarded to the best net score over 36 holes for a player 50 years and above.

The 36 holes will also act as qualifiers for the EuroDov Tour Championship (scratch) and the 2013 Cup (net). The top 4 scratch scores over 36 holes will qualify for the Championship and the top 4 net scores will qualify for the 2013 Cup.

The players will then play matchplay on the preceding Friday (semi-final) and Sunday (final) to determine the winners.
